About Nest Media & Digital

Nest Media & Digital is a full-service digital marketing agency based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We partner with brands across hospitality, retail, lifestyle, and corporate sectors to build compelling digital presences through creative strategy, content, and data-driven campaigns.

Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, creative, and analytically minded Content Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the content strategy function, from auditing clients' existing presence to developing tailored content plans and measuring their impact. You will work closely with our creative, social media, and business development teams to deliver results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1.Content Planning & Strategy

  • Develop comprehensive content strategies for clients across various industries, with a focus on hospitality, lifestyle, and corporate brands
  • Build monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned with client goals and campaign timelines
  • Define content pillars, brand voice guidelines, and messaging frameworks for each client
  • Conduct content audits to assess existing digital presence and identify gaps and opportunities

2.Algorithm & Platform Management

  • Stay up to date with platform algorithm changes across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Recommend content formats (Reels, carousels, stories, static) based on current platform performance trends
  • Optimize posting schedules, hashtag strategies, and metadata to maximize organic reach
  • Monitor and respond to algorithm shifts with timely strategy adjustments

3.Engagement & Community Strategy

  • Design content that drives meaningful engagement — saves, shares, comments, and profile visits
  • Develop caption frameworks and calls-to-action that prompt interaction
  • Oversee community management guidelines and ensure timely, on-brand responses
  • Plan and execute interactive content such as polls, Q&As, giveaways, and campaigns

4.Performance & Reporting

  • Track key performance metrics: reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, and conversions
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for clients
  • Use data to refine content direction and demonstrate ROI to clients

5.Client & Agency Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the business development team on client pitches and proposals
  • Brief the creative team (designers, videographers, copywriters) with clear, detailed content briefs
  • Participate in client presentations and strategy review meetings
  • Support new business pitches with social media audits and tailored strategy decks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in content strategy, social media management, or digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms
  • Proven ability to build and execute content strategies that drive engagement and growth
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, or similar)
  • Experience with analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Nepali and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency environment
  • Background in or exposure to the hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle sectors
  • Familiarity with paid social media advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and how they intersect with content
  • Experience creating pitch documents, audits, or strategy presentations for clients

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Opportunity to work with leading brands across Nepal and the region
  • A collaborative, creative, and fast-paced agency environment
  • Professional development and training opportunities
  • Exposure to diverse industries and high-value client accounts
