Job Purpose

The Junior Officer – Sales will be responsible for achieving sales volume and market share targets within the assigned area and product segment by identifying business opportunities, developing customer relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and following the organization’s sales process and standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and market share targets for the assigned area and product segment.
  • Identify target customers and new business opportunities and conduct regular sales calls.
  • Understand customer requirements and vehicle applications and coordinate with the Supervisor/Product Team to provide appropriate product solutions.
  • Submit daily customer visit and sales activity reports to the Supervisor.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the Supervisor and Marketing Team in identifying target customers and planning and conducting KAP activities within approved budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, schemes, and market practices and provide relevant market intelligence.
  • Support customer conversion strategies based on market and competitor information.
  • Prepare and submit reports on lost customers, competitor pricing, product feedback, market developments, and customer complaints.
  • Follow up with customers throughout the sales cycle, from lead generation to order confirmation and delivery, to ensure timely conversion and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor or Management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Candidates with Intermediate (+2) qualification and at least 1 year of relevant sales experience may also apply.
  • Prior experience in sales, preferably in the automotive, commercial vehicle, automobile, or related industry, will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of sales processes and basic technical knowledge of the relevant product segment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
