Role Description The Social Media Handler at Mycabin-cowork is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role is responsible for managing and growing the company’s presence across social media platforms, including planning and posting content, responding to messages and comments, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. Day-to-day tasks include creating engaging posts, stories, and short videos, promoting events and offers, monitoring analytics, and adjusting strategies based on performance. The Social Media Handler will collaborate with the internal team to highlight community activities, showcase member success stories, and support marketing campaigns to attract new members. The role also involves staying updated on social media trends and suggesting new ideas to increase reach and engagement.
Qualifications

  • Ability to plan, create, and manage social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Skills in basic graphic design, photo/video editing, and familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, basic video editors).
  • Experience monitoring social media metrics, preparing simple performance reports, and adjusting content strategies accordingly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local language, with the ability to maintain a clear and consistent brand tone.
  • Comfort working on-site in a co-working environment, collaborating with diverse professionals, and engaging directly with community members.
  • Good organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple platforms and campaigns at once.
  • Prior experience in social media management, digital marketing, or community management is preferred.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is an advantage, but relevant experience is also valued.
