Mining Engineer – Cement Division
Location: Palpa, Nepal
Salary: Negotiable (Based on qualification and experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and supervise all mining operations to ensure uninterrupted limestone production.
- Develop and implement mine plans in accordance with production targets and long-term resource utilization.
- Oversee drilling, blasting, excavation, and hauling activities while ensuring operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all mining, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the Plant, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure continuous raw material supply.
- Monitor equipment performance, production efficiency, and workforce productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and mining performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve mining operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mining operations, with at least 5 years in the cement industry.
- Strong expertise in mine planning, drilling & blasting, quarry operations, and mine safety.
- Sound knowledge of mining regulations, environmental compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Proven leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in mine planning and reporting tools will be an added advantage.
