Role Description

This part-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse is based in Kathmandu. The Registered Nurse will provide medical care and support to elderly residents, administer medications, monitor health conditions, and assist with treatments as required. The role involves maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating with physicians and caregivers, and offering guidance and companionship to residents to promote their overall well-being. Nurses will also contribute to the implementation of care plans and ensure residents live in a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of patient care, health monitoring, and disease management, especially for elderly individuals and those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
  • Proficiency in clinical tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing first aid as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills to create a supportive and caring environment for residents.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals and caregivers.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and relevant qualifications in nursing or health care.
  • Experience in elder care or assisted living is highly advantageous.
  • Commitment to maintaining a patient-centered approach in providing care and support.
