This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kathmandu for an Australian Counselor. The Counselor will assist students in identifying suitable educational programs in Australia, guide them with application processes, and provide accurate advice on study options. Responsibilities include providing support with visa applications, offering help with documentation, and conducting pre-departure briefings for students. The Counselor will also liaise with institutions, maintain accurate student records, and stay updated on Australian education policies and regulations.
- Strong counseling and advisory skills with knowledge of Australian education systems and institutions
- Proficiency in student counseling, visa application processes, and document preparation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadlines
- Interpersonal skills to build trustworthy relationships with students
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to continuously learn
- Familiarity with standardized testing systems (IELTS, PTE) is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Education, Counseling, or International Relations
- Relevant experience in education consultancy or student services is a plus
