About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and motivated Admissions & Compliance Officer who will support the Nepal SCO-GTE Division in delivering end-to-end admissions and compliance services. You will manage the Australasia Compliance-GTE process, conduct credibility checks, and work closely with students, agents, and business units to ensure timely processing of high-quality applications and increased conversions. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract role that plays a pivotal part in supporting student recruitment outcomes through accurate application assessment, strict adherence to visa and regulatory requirements, and compliance with internal policies and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Application Processing

  • Act as the main point of contact for applications.
  • Assess and forward complete applications to the Compliance Manager or relevant Business Units, ensuring all processes are followed accurately.

Pre-screening

  • Conduct credibility interviews for applicants as assigned by the Compliance Manager.
  • Share transcripts and recommend outcomes based on assessments.

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Assist Business Units in gathering any missing or additional documents from students and agents.
  • Follow up with students, agents, and Business Units to ensure all requirements are met promptly.

Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate records for each case handled through Salesforce.
  • Update statuses regularly to ensure transparency across all stakeholders.

Reporting

  • Generate status and update reports as required for the Compliance Manager or Business Units.

Online Enquiry Management

  • Respond to all email enquiries within 24 hours except when weekends and holidays.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of experience in study abroad, admissions, customer service, or compliance.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a passion for student success.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a multicultural, international team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven experience managing admissions or compliance, ideally in higher education.
  • Strong record-keeping and reporting skills; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Proactive, innovative, and solutions-focused approach.
