Job Description

Position: School Nurse (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
- Monitor and manage the health of students with chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate student health records and medical reports.
- Administer prescribed medications as needed during school hours.
- Promote health education and awareness on hygiene, nutrition, and safety.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents on student health concerns.
- Ensure the school's infirmary is well-equipped and hygienic at all times.
Job Specification
- Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in pediatric or school health settings.
- Good communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Caring, patient, and student-centered approach.
Required Skills:
- Excellent clinical and first-aid skills.
- Strong assessment and decision-making abilities in emergency situations.
- Proficiency in health documentation and medical recordkeeping.
- Basic counseling and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to educate students on health, hygiene, and wellness topics.
- Teamwork and collaboration with school staff and parents.
- Familiarity with child development and adolescent health issues.
- Time management and organizational skills.
