We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) to lead the financial management, planning, reporting, governance, controls, and treasury functions across the Group. The CFO will provide strategic financial direction to management and the Board while ensuring strong financial discipline, profitability, compliance, cost optimization, and effective financial risk management across all group companies.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, excellent financial and analytical capabilities, and proven exposure to Manufacturing, Trading, and/or Mining industries and multi-company/group operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present quarterly financial reports for individual companies within the Group to management and the Board of Directors.
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete accounting entries and financial records across all group entities.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow projections, and business planning.
Oversee banking relationships, treasury operations, working capital, fund management, and financing activities.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce interest costs and optimize overall financial expenses.
Monitor profitability, cost structures, margins, and key financial KPIs across the Group.
Conduct profitability analysis of Service Centers and recommend measures for operational and financial improvement.
Establish and monitor strong financial controls, approval systems, and checks and balances for credit notes, sales schemes, discounts, pricing, and margins.
Lead the implementation, optimization, and monitoring of ERP and CRM systems across the Group.
Ensure effective management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and other financial functions from a governance perspective.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, statutory requirements, and corporate governance policies.
Oversee tax planning, statutory filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
Manage internal and external audits and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
Develop and implement financial policies, SOPs, internal control systems, and risk-management frameworks.
Evaluate investment opportunities, capital expenditure proposals, and major business decisions from a financial perspective.
Identify financial and business risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Provide management with financial analysis, business insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team across the Group.
Coordinate effectively with banks, financial institutions, auditors, tax authorities, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Perform any other finance and accounts-related responsibilities assigned by the Group Management or Board of Directors.
Job Specification
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, including significant experience in a senior financial leadership role.
Proven experience in Manufacturing, Trading, and/or Mining industries – Mandatory.
Experience managing finance functions across multiple companies or group-level operations will be highly preferred.
Strong experience in financial leadership, corporate finance, treasury, budgeting, reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
