We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to design intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences for Batas Hire Purchase's internal systems and customer-facing web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will transform business requirements into engaging interfaces, collaborate closely with the IT team and developers, and contribute to the company's ongoing digital transformation by delivering modern, consistent, and user-centric designs.
Job Responsibilities
Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for internal tools and customer-facing platforms (web and mobile)
Translate business requirements and user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI
Work closely with the Head of IT and Full Stack Developer to implement designs into working products
Conduct light user research/testing and iterate on designs based on feedback
Maintain visual and interaction consistency across Batas's digital products
Contribute to decisions on design tooling and design system as it's established
Job Specification
Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
2–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design and/or front-end implementation
Proficiency in Figma
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking — from user flows to polished interfaces
Some front-end development or design-to-code experience is a plus
Experience in fintech, banking, or NBFC environments is a plus but not required
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali
Self-directed and able to deliver as a contractor/consultant with minimal oversight
