Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Marketing Communication
- Narrative Strategy: Develop and execute an annual marketing plan that positions Curves n' Colors as a leader in the design and tech space.
- Content Ecosystem: Translate our complex technical builds and design systems into human-centric case studies, whitepapers, and thought-leadership articles.
- Social & Community: Manage our presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and industry platforms (DesignRush/Clutch/Behance/Dribbble), fostering engagement with peers and potential clients.
- Pitch Architecture: Partner with the leadership team to build high-impact, persuasive pitch decks. You are responsible for the "story" of the pitch, ensuring it isn't just a list of services, but a compelling solution to a business problem.
- Proposal Crafting: Draft and refine RFP responses and proposals.
- Meetings with prospects: Participate in high-stakes sales meetings to explain our strategic process and the "why" behind our creative-tech approach.
- Lead Nurturing: Create marketing materials and tailored content to keep prospects engaged throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to final closing.
- PR & Awards: Lead the strategy for award submissions (Awwwards, Webbys, Red Dot, etc.) and identify press opportunities in tech and design publications.
Client Project Strategy
- UX Writing & Messaging: Partner with UI/UX designers on active client projects to craft intuitive microcopy, onboarding flows, and interface language.
- Strategic Content Design: Lead discovery workshops with clients to define their brand voice, value propositions, and content pillars for the websites or apps we are building.
- Information Architecture: Collaborate on sitemaps and wireframes to ensure content and strategy are baked into the user journey from day one.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in a marketing or strategy role within a creative agency, digital studio, or tech-forward service providing company.
- Strategic Writing: Ability to write for different audiences, from technical "dev-speak" to high-level executive summaries and punchy UX microcopy.
- Technical Literacy: You understand the fundamentals of website development and can discuss them comfortably with clients.
- Design Fluency: You have a "good eye" and are comfortable collaborating with designers.
- Facilitation: Experience leading client workshops or presentations; you are comfortable "holding the room."
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
