Role Description:
The Service Engineer will oversee daily workshop operations in Kathmandu, ensuring timely repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment as per company standards. The role includes allocating work to technicians, monitoring performance, maintaining quality and safety standards, managing tools and spare parts inventory, and preparing service reports. The position also involves handling customer concerns, supporting staff development, and ensuring efficient use of workshop resources. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or a related field, with relevant service experience, strong leadership skills, and basic computer knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise day to day workshop operations.
- Allocate work and monitor technician performance.
- Ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance jobs.
- Maintain quality standards and service procedures.
- Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies.
- Prepare schedules, reports, and operational records.
- Control workshop costs and optimize resource use.
- Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean work environment
- Handle customer concerns and service feedback.
- Train and develop workshop staff.
