Job Description
One of the leading business groups is seeking an accountant to join its growing team across multiple locations—Biratnagar, Malangawa, Lalbandi, Chapur, and Birgunj. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or management with 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience (automobile or service industry preferred), along with sound knowledge of VAT, taxation, and compliance practices.
Billing & Revenue Management
• Prepare service invoices based on approved job cards
• Verify labour charges, spare parts costs, taxes, and discounts
• Maintain daily sales and service revenue records
Accounts & Bookkeeping
• Maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts
• Record purchase invoices, expenses, and vendor bills
• Reconcile daily cash collections and bank deposits
Payroll & Staff Payments
• Prepare monthly payroll, overtime, and incentives
• Maintain attendance and salary records in coordination with HR
Vendor & Compliance Management
• Process vendor payments and maintain ageing reports
• Assist in VAT, TDS, and statutory filings (as applicable in Nepal)
• Support audits and management reporting
Reporting
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
• Provide MIS reports on revenue, expenses, and profitability
• Billing accuracy
• Timely reporting & reconciliation
• Compliance adherence
• Cost control & expense monitoring
• Strong accounting and numerical ability
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Swastik, or similar)
• MS Excel and financial reporting skills
• High integrity and attention to detail
