Job Description

To manage, grow, and strengthen business with modern trade outlets in Kathmandu Valley by ensuring product availability, visibility, promotions, and strong relationships with key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all assigned small modern trade outlets within the valley
Ensure listing, range availability, and on-shelf presence of company products
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Plan and execute in-store promotions, displays, and activations
Coordinate with merchandisers to maintain planogram and visibility standards
Monitor stock levels, expiry, damages, and replenishment
Negotiate and follow up on promotions, margins, and trade schemes
Maintain strong relationships with store managers and category buyers
Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and promotions
Coordinate with finance for billing, collections, and reconciliation

Job Specification

Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good understanding of modern trade operations
Analytical skills for sales tracking and reporting
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting tools

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 2-5 years experience in modern trade handling (FMCG preferred)
Experience in Kathmandu Valley market is an added advantage

Other Requirements:

Two-wheeler with valid license preferred
Willingness to travel across the valley
Self-motivated and result-oriented
