Job Description
Qualification and Experience (for A and B):
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/Social Work or similar field with at least 3 years of livelihood support program management, training program implementation and activity monitoring experience.
• Skills in leveraging employment opportunities through different methods such as influencing coordinating.
• Basic knowledge of national and International labour Laws & standards.
• Good command in English and Nepali languages and good computer skills.
• Strong written English and report writing skills.
Job Specification
A. WEAVING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY PROJECT: 1 (This position is based on Kathmandu with frequent travel to program districts)
Term: 1 year fixed term (with possibility of extension depending on resources and need)
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee implementation of the Weaving Economic Opportunities Project in consultation with the Supervisor.
• Supervise, monitor and control the project as per NGF policies & guidelines,
• Maintain meeting minutes and reporting to concerned officials.
• Check the submission of Statements of Expenditures, Progress Reports and other related documents and recommendation for payments.
• Prepare progress reports of project and submission to the senior management team of NGF and GWI
• Prepare budgetary recommendations that meet organizational goals and provide for effective management of resources
• Manage day to day operations of the project activities on daily basis in order to achieve high performance
• Maintain consistent records/documentation of staff performance appraisals.
• Work in close coordination with Executive Director, Weaving Sub committee, GWI and donors.
• Monitoring, reporting and administer the project's sub agreements including budget adjustment
• Monitor the implementation of the program activities, keep records and analyze them according to the work plan.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, annual program reports and other reports and as required.
• Develop the Progress Reports, M & E Reports and Submit to concerned department.
• Performance of other jobs assigned by the Program Manager.
B. EARTHQUAKE RELIEF AND RECOVERY PROJECT: 1 (Based on Sindhupalchowk with frequent travel to program VDCs) Term: 9 month
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee implementation of the project activities and manage day to day operations of the project activities on daily basis.
• Monitor the implementation of the program activities, keep records and analyze them according to the work plan.
• Maintain meeting minutes and reporting to concerned officials.
• Check the submission of Statements of Expenditures, Progress Reports and other related documents and recommendation for payments.
• Prepare progress reports of project and submission to the senior management team of NGF and GWI
