Job Description
  • Reporting to Deputy Director of Programme Operations.
  • DRR Expert will be primarily responsible to provide strategic leadership to DKH funded RFF project for designing, implementation, monitoring and reporting of DRR and Early Preparedness intervention component to address the post-earthquake situation needs in Dolakha and Sindhupalchowk districts.
  • DRR Expert's duties includes; capacity building of project staff and partners' staffs on DRR awareness and preparation; maintaining congenial working relationships with the government agencies, donors, media, local NGO partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring quality delivery of RFF programme and contributing to develop DRR strategies; provide technical input for designing and implementing programmes and projects with DRR integrations.
Job Specification
  • Master's degree in Disaster Risk Management, Civil Engineering, Environment Science or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in DRR projects.
  • Should be smart, confidient and able to lead.
  • Shoul be able to work under pressure.
