Over 80 years of experience, a conglomerate of 48 companies, a family of more than 15000 employees and an impact on over a million lives each day!

These figures are a result of Triveni Group’s continuous commitment, growth and principal foundational values.

The Group has climbed an ambitious journey from being cloth merchants to industrialists. Back in the 1930, Shri Gopal Rai Sanghai, imported textiles from South Asian countries and traded them in Nepal. In 1940, Triveni experienced a paradigm shift from trading to manufacturing with its first establishment of “Ghee” (Clarified Butter). This is when it got its identity as a ‘Group’ and commenced its on-going journey of diversification.

With a step towards manufacturing, Triveni Group (TG) exposed itself to not only businesses in vastly different verticals but also experienced dramatic changes in its strategic outlook. TG realised that aiming to produce products locally created far reaching ripple effects. It immediately brought in greater job opportunities and further uplifted the standard of living of the Nepalese people by not only giving them a better quality product, but also at highly affordable prices. This and only this, has been the core intention of the Group while entering in or expanding any business it has engaged in so far - to help the community have a better life.

Triveni Group stands strong on its pillars of values, taught and inherited through generations. With the third generation at the helm of the business, TG strives on engaging itself in industries that would uplift the skill set of Nepalese people and in turn give them satisfaction through their work.

Triveni Group wants to become a legacy, whose heritage stands strong exemplifying successful family businesses. With the on-set of newer generations to come, TG holds steady with its values of Trust, Respect, Ownership and Affection, and adheres to its intentions of community growth and development, illustrated through its motto “A Promise for Life.”
