Job Description
  • Should have completed Masters Degree in development studies, management or in related field with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Preference will be given to those who have been shouldering similar role and holding senior management responsibility. Committed to rights based and gender sensitive work, knowledgeable on core humanitarian standards.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in English and Nepali languages are required.
Job Specification

Broadly, S/he will be responsible to oversee the program works: program development, coordination, quality assurance and M & E.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take lead in new program development, participate in the planning and execution of fund raising activities and write grant proposals.
  • Take lead in quality assurance, and monitor and review programming to ensure that schedules are met guidelines adhered to and performance are of adequate quality and accountabilty especially to target groups.
  • Take lead in knowledge management works including documentation and production of good practices and learning documents.
  • Take lead in professional development program to address staff experience and skill gaps.
  • Facilitate the integration thematic and cross-thematic inputs to the program.
  • Provide gender and social inclusion expertise, including the people with disability and ethnicity to the progrram.
  • Assist Country Director in developing and revising Country Strategy and Operation Plan
