Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
As a documentation expert, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that supports our organizational goals. Your duties will include:
Proposal Writing and Development:
- Drafting project proposals for government, international agencies, and private sector clients.
- Ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and donor requirements.
- Conducting research to support proposal narratives and budgets.
Report Writing and Editing:
- Preparing well-structured project reports, research papers, and case studies.
- Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to organizational standards.
- Reviewing and editing documents to maintain a high level of quality.
Content Creation:
- Creating content for brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Writing blog posts, newsletters, and articles showcasing organizational activities.
Documentation Management:
- Organizing and maintaining a centralized repository of organizational documents.
- Ensuring confidentiality and proper access control of sensitive information.
Collaboration and coordination:
- Working closely with project managers, researchers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary inputs.
- Coordinating with graphic designers or multimedia teams to enhance the visual appeal of documents.
Job Specification
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in technical writing, proposal development, or documentation management.
Skills:
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error-free documents.
- Familiarity with funding agencies and donor requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
