Job Description
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, payroll processing, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
- Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management as required.
- Assist with the implementation of accounting systems and software upgrades.
Job Specification
- +2 completed or Bachelor's degree running in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
