Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team for a hydropower project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with hydropower construction and site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations and construction activities for the hydropower project.
  • Coordinate with the design team and contractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Monitor the progress of construction work and ensure it adheres to the project schedule.
  • Ensure that all site operations comply with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, technical documentation, and progress updates.
  • Supervise the installation of hydropower systems and equipment on site.
  • Address any site-related technical challenges and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues.
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functionality.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and local authorities. 
Job Specification

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in site engineering, with a focus on hydropower projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction management, civil  and site operations.
  • Familiarity with hydropower systems and relevant engineering standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and engineering software (AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing large-scale hydropower construction projects.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and environmental standards related to hydropower.
