Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and assist them in finding products.
- Stock shelves with merchandise and ensure that they are well-stocked at all times.
- Ensure that all products are properly labeled and priced.
- Keep the store clean and well-maintained, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning shelves, and taking out the trash.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when products need to be restocked.
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products, promotions, and services.
- Follow all safety and security procedures, including reporting any suspicious behavior or activity to management.
- Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specification
Duties:
- Maintain a working knowledge of store products, promotions, and services in order to assist customers with their purchases and inquiries.
- Rotate stock and ensure that products are within their expiration dates.
- Assist with managing inventory levels, ordering products, and receiving deliveries.
- Collaborate with other department staff to ensure that store displays and promotions are coordinated and effective.
- Assist with setting up and taking down promotional displays and signage.
- Ensure that all areas of the store are clean and well-maintained, including the restrooms and break room.
- Assist with training new staff members on store policies and procedures, as well as customer service and merchandising standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety procedures and dress code.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (+2) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or supermarket setting preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to lift up to 30kg and stand for extended periods.
