Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance the reputation and profitability of the store.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring that they are maintained at optimal levels.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff members, including scheduling and performance management.
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Monitor and analyze sales and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as required.

Job Specification
Duties:
- Open and close the store, ensuring that all security measures are in place.
- Conduct a walkthrough of the store to ensure that it is clean, well-stocked, and ready to serve customers.
- Assign tasks to staff members and oversee their completion, ensuring that everyone is working efficiently and effectively.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure that the store is receiving the best possible deals.
- Monitor employee performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and ensure that they are meeting expectations.
- Manage the store's budget, including tracking expenses and revenue, and making adjustments as needed.
- Create and implement marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.
- Attend meetings with upper management and report on the store's performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a management role in a retail environment, preferably in a supermarket.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
