Job Description
The Ticketing Officer will be responsible for managing flight ticket bookings, providing customer support, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in reservation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle flight ticket reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Assist customers with travel inquiries and provide accurate fare quotes.
- Process payments and issue tickets using various booking platforms.
- Coordinate with airlines and other service providers for ticketing-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Provide after-sales support and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
- Stay updated with airline policies, fare rules, and promotional offers.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum [2 years] of experience in ticketing and reservations (fresher can apply if well-trained).
- Proficiency in ticketing software like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of international and domestic ticketing rules and regulations.
- Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail.
