Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire customs clearance and forwarding process, ensuring smooth facilitation of goods in compliance with government regulations.
- Manage and coordinate all customs-related documentation and declarations for imports and exports.
- Utilize the ASYCUDA (Automated System for Customs Data) platform for entry and processing of customs data.
- Analyze and apply customs tariff rates to determine applicable duties, taxes, and fees.
- Stay informed about updates in customs regulations, policies, and trade agreements to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of all customs-related processes and documents.
- Coordinate with traders, customs officials, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare detailed reports, maintain documentation, and manage data using tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Job Specification
- Proven knowledge and practical experience with the ASYCUDA system.
- Strong understanding of customs clearing and forwarding processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of customs tariff rates and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customs clearance, logistics, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
