Job Description
Job Summary:
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving business growth through proactive sales efforts and fostering strong customer relationships. This role includes identifying new business opportunities, managing the sales process, and consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various methods such as networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing customized solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns, driving revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to better position the company's offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, prepare regular reports on performance, and analyze sales metrics to refine strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on the company’s product offerings and features to effectively communicate their value propositions to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring profitability while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with marketing, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless, positive customer experience and alignment of business goals.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
