Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Active participation in the mid line and end line survey i.e. data collections.
- Provide training to child club members, youth club members, mother’s group, father’s group and local government representatives.
- Conduct interaction program and orientation with school management committee, health post, Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHV), police.
- Develop program report, event report and annual report.
- Prepare meeting minutes.
- Documentations.
- Assist Monitoring and Evaluation officer to develop strategy tools for revising the existing policies on Dignified Menstruation.
- Assist Monitoring and Evaluation officer to develop advocacy materials on the basis of project goals and objectives.
- Assist program Coordinator, Monitoring and Evaluation officer and IT officer to develop the content for social media and website.
- Assist to create and finalize the theme/topic to be discussed in the radio and television program centering Dignified Menstruation, menstrual discrimination, SRHR and GBV.
- Participate in training, workshop and activities conducted by stakeholders.
- Handle the online webinars and conference etc.
Job Specification
Program Associate-1
Working Station: Kathmandu with frequent field visit
Duration: 1 year with possible extension (with 3-month probation period)
Required Qualification
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in social science, development-related fields, public health and any relevant field with a good understanding of monitoring and evaluation system.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Dignified Menstruation, SRHR, Human Right and GBV.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, KOBO, SPSS, etc.) and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling web-based management systems.
- Proven ability to produce analytical reports with quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Excellent in using Microsoft office package
- Familiar with Google workspace
- Ability to develop data analysis approaches, methodologies, and databases
- Good understanding of gender issues and rights-based approach
- Willingness to undertake extensive fieldwork in remote and rural/urban communities.
- Outstanding communication skills- written and spoken
- Fluency in English and Nepali, written and spoken
- Nepali typing skills.
- Critical thinking and ability to self-initiate
