Job Description
The Full-Time IT Lecturer at Prime College will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Information Technology (IT) and related disciplines. The role involves teaching, curriculum development, student mentorship, research, and active participation in departmental and institutional activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, industry experience, and a passion for fostering student success in IT fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in IT subjects
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans in line with industry trends.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, including blended and project-based learning.
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Stay updated with emerging IT trends and integrate them into teaching.
Job Specification
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum 1 years of teaching experience at the college/university level.
- Industry experience in software development, cybersecurity, or data science (a plus).
- Professional certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, CEH, Oracle).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of IT fundamentals and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages and development tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
