Job Description

A social media specialist's duties include analyzing data, creating content, and running paid advertisements for a brand or product. A social media specialist coordinates with marketing and public relations teams to manage and carry out marketing and social media campaigns.

Major Responsibilities:

  • The face of the Company (who can represent the company on different social media)
  •  Creative Personality who can explore things on the Internet and think wisely for the company's growth)
  • Think differently, Generate Ideas & Can Plan to execute for the team.
  •  Loves to speak to people. (Coordinate, Flow Information & Update team members regarding everything that Marketing Team is doing)
  • Work with the marketing department to get an understanding of the short-term and long-term marketing targets and then develop content strategies accordingly.
  • Creating content that will catch maximum customer interest.
  •  Writing and reviewing content for websites, social media pages, and public communications.

Job Specification

  • A bachelor's degree in social media management, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a social media representative, or a similar role.
  • A year of customer service experience would be beneficial.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media best practices.
  • Ability to effectively use a variety of social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google+.
  • Working knowledge of social media tools, such as HootSuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics.
  • Solid customer service skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
