Job Description
Position Overview:
The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for managing and expanding the company's distribution channels within the IT sector. This role involves developing and nurturing partnerships with distributors, resellers, and retailers across designated regions, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and establish strong relationships with channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and retailers.
- Nurture and support partnerships to foster long-term collaboration.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
- Monitor and drive sales performance across all assigned regions.
- Conduct training sessions to equip channel partners with in-depth knowledge of the company’s IT products and services.
- Provide ongoing support to enable effective sales by partners.
- Track and evaluate the performance of channel partners, setting and monitoring sales targets.
- Analyze progress and implement corrective measures to ensure target achievement.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine channel strategies.
- Identify opportunities for growth and address market challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, addressing their concerns and fostering mutual trust.
- Work closely with internal departments, including marketing and product development, to align efforts with channel strategies.
- Ensure promotional campaigns and product launches are effectively communicated to partners.
- Focus on increasing sales revenue and expanding market share through effective channel management and partner engagement.
- Generate and present regular reports on sales performance, partner feedback, and market insights to senior management.
Job Specification
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in channel sales, preferably in the IT, inverter, or battery sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing and developing distribution channels.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and customer needs in the IT sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and implement strategies effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Additional Requirements:
- Must own a bike for frequent travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to articulate the value of IT products/services.
