Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Sales Assistant to join our team at Philips Lighting. This role is ideal for someone who excels in customer service, sales, and data management. The Sales Assistant will handle various tasks to drive sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Handling:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored lighting solutions.
  • Enhance sales through effective communication and exceptional customer service.

Inquiry Management:

  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Understand and manage customer wants and needs to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Data Management:

  • Update and maintain the data collection inquiry sheet with accurate and current information.
  • Track and manage customer interactions and sales data effectively.

Phone Calls:

  • Conduct outbound and inbound calls to engage with customers and follow up on leads.
  • Provide detailed product information and support to potential and existing clients.

Daily Site Visits:

  • Perform site visits as required to assess customer needs and provide on-site solutions.
  • Collect feedback and insights to refine sales strategies and improve customer service.

Leads Generation:

  • Identify and generate new business leads through various channels.
  • Qualify leads and work to convert them into sales opportunities.

Sales and Customer Satisfaction:

  • Actively contribute to increasing sales while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure customers have a positive experience from initial contact through post-sale support.

 

 

Job Specification
  • Bachelors Degree completed or studying in final year.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in data entry and management, with attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting products or willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits.
