Job Description

Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand the company’s market presence. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze customer needs, industry changes, and market conditions to provide insights for strategic planning.
  • Identify, approach, and develop new leads through networking, industry events, cold calling, and digital outreach.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads, nurturing relationships to convert them into long-term clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, tailored solutions, and sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on client needs and sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and progress against goals.
