Job Description
- Analyze financial reports and prepare monthly reports for management.
- Provide financial insights to senior leadership and the Board for strategic decision-making.
- Support cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, etc.) by providing analytical and reporting information.
- Assist in resolving recurring reporting issues during cross-functional meetings.
- Identify areas for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Lead and recommend changes in policies or procedures to improve financial performance.
- Conduct revenue analysis, including variance explanations to ensure accurate tracking.
- Calculate and prepare financial goals for the organization.
- Manage VAT, TDS, and other regulatory compliances.
- Stay updated with government regulations and ensure strict adherence to all legal and financial amendments.
- Create monthly and annual reports to track results, trends, and prepare financial forecasts.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure clear communication and efficient execution of financial activities.
- Manage and train the finance team, allocating responsibilities effectively.
- Conduct training programs on Odoo ERP for employees to ensure smooth implementation and utilization.
- Collaborate with different departments to maintain communication flow for effective financial planning and reporting.
- Recommend changes to financial policies and procedures that will improve performance and efficiency.
Job Specification
- Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.
- Experience in managing VAT, TDS, and other regulatory obligations.
- Prior experience working with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and handling automation projects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial reports, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially with financial data.
- Ability to explain variances and trends clearly.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and train a finance team.
- Capable of allocating responsibilities effectively within the team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to simplify complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
