Position: Finance Officer - Semi Qualified CA

Job Description

• Analyze financial reports and prepare monthly reports for management.
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership and the Board for strategic decision-making.
• Support cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, etc.) by providing analytical and reporting information.
• Assist in resolving recurring reporting issues during cross-functional meetings.
• Identify areas for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Lead and recommend changes in policies or procedures to improve financial performance.
• Conduct revenue analysis, including variance explanations to ensure accurate tracking.
• Calculate and prepare financial goals for the organization.
• Manage VAT, TDS, and other regulatory compliances.
• Stay updated with government regulations and ensure strict adherence to all legal and financial amendments.
• Create monthly and annual reports to track results, trends, and prepare financial forecasts.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure clear communication and efficient execution of financial activities.
• Manage and train the finance team, allocating responsibilities effectively.
• Conduct training programs on Odoo ERP for employees to ensure smooth implementation and utilization.
• Collaborate with different departments to maintain communication flow for effective financial planning and reporting.
• Recommend changes to financial policies and procedures that will improve performance and efficiency.

Job Specification

• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.
• Experience in managing VAT, TDS, and other regulatory obligations.
• Prior experience working with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and handling automation projects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of financial reports, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially with financial data.
• Ability to explain variances and trends clearly.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage and train a finance team.
• Capable of allocating responsibilities effectively within the team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to simplify complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
