Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing automobile (EV) business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations related to import activities.

Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and inventory.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Ensure timely VAT Return and TDS Return and other applicable taxes.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs, and suppliers regarding financial documentation.
Assist in audits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and accounting standards.
Use accounting software

Job Specification

Qualified Chartered Accountant (Min. 3 years experience)
Proven experience in accounting, preferably in an import or trading environment.
Knowledge of customs procedures, incoterms, and import documentation is a plus.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and organizational skills.
