Job Description

Overview:
Nebula Mobility Pvt. Ltd., the authorized partner of Gogoro in Nepal, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Spare Parts Manager to oversee our spare parts inventory management. The ideal candidate will ensure that our spare parts inventory is optimized to meet operational needs without causing shortages or overstock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Efficiently manage and oversee the spare parts inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, preventing shortages while avoiding excess inventory.
  • Order Management: Accurately generate, track, and manage orders for spare parts to ensure timely arrivals and availability as per operational demands.
  • Usage Analysis: Analyze spare parts usage patterns and trends to make informed decisions regarding future inventory requirements.
  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability and timely delivery of spare parts, negotiating terms and conditions as necessary.
  • Inventory Optimization: Implement inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize storage space and reduce costs.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, usage trends, and order statuses to the Operations Manager.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide the spare parts team, ensuring that all inventory management processes are followed efficiently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the spare parts management process and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Specification
  • MBA / BBA or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, with experience in managing spare parts or similar items.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions about inventory levels and procurement.
  • Proficiency in generating, tracking, and managing purchase orders with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience in working with suppliers, including negotiation and relationship management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues related to inventory shortages, overstock, or order delays.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring adherence to inventory management best practices.

Additional Requirements:

  • Personality: Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and tools is preferred.
