Job Summary:

The Ticketing and Tours Officer is responsible for managing and processing all aspects of international ticketing and hotel bookings, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for clients. The role also involves marketing tour packages and handling B2B (Business-to-Business) relationships to enhance the company’s service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle international ticketing, including booking, reissuing, and canceling tickets.
  • Use various GDS (Global Distribution Systems) and check-in systems to process bookings.
  • Assist clients with seat selection, meal preferences, and other special requests.
  • Manage hotel reservations for clients, ensuring accuracy in booking details.
  • Negotiate rates with hotels and suppliers to secure the best deals for clients.
  • Coordinate with hotels to confirm special requests and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive information on travel destinations, ticket options, and hotel accommodations.
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure all client communications, including emails and calls, are handled efficiently.
  • Promote tour packages and travel deals to clients, highlighting the benefits and features.
  • Utilize marketing skills to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Develop and maintain B2B relationships to increase the company’s market presence and service offerings.
  • Engage with corporate clients and travel agencies to understand their travel needs.
  • Provide customized travel solutions for B2B partners, ensuring competitive pricing and excellent service.
  • Work closely with other departments to fulfill the needs of B2B clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and other transactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and industry standards.
Job Specification
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in hotel booking and international ticketing.
  • Familiarity with check-in systems and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
  • Experience in marketing and B2B coordination is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing and booking software.
  • Marketing skills to effectively promote tour packages and services.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of international ticketing procedures and hotel booking processes.
