Job Description
Role Responsibilities

  • [Target material cost management] Perform securing cost competitiveness of developed products before mass production by accurately setting target selling price and target material cost with collaboration between development and procurement departments from the product planning stage.
  • [Sourcing suggestion] Perform EPI (Early Procurement Involvement) from the product development stage in order to source the optimal parts and vendors and reflect them in the product design.
  • [Parts trend management] Perform introducing the technology on time and achieving stabilization an early stage by managing the information of vendors and technology trend of main items.
  • [Optimal parts management] Perform selecting high quality parts by considering the parts' technical and business aspects respectively, and managing the parts by grading them.

  • Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and procedures
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
  • Generally requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years related experience, or advanced degree without experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Experience with vendor management and supplier relationship building.
  • Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory procurement requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to travel as needed for supplier visits and meetings.
