We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic travel company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and nurturing business opportunities, converting leads into sales, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners. This role requires excellent communication skills, email correspondence, and virtual meeting management to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Convert leads into sales by understanding client needs and offering tailored travel solutions.
  • Conduct email correspondence with potential and existing clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule, manage, and participate in virtual meetings with clients, travel agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and partners.
  • Assist in creating proposals, presentations, and promotional materials for business development.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and business development activities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall business growth.


Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role in the travel industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective email and virtual interactions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of global travel trends and industry practices is a plus.
