OverviewThe Officer Desk Officer is a pivotal role within our organization, primarily responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations and customer interactions at the service desk. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth processes and providing exceptional service to both internal and external clients. The Officer Desk Officer will serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and facilitating effective communication across various departments. By leveraging strong interpersonal skills and operational knowledge, the Officer Desk Officer will contribute to increased efficiency and enhanced client satisfaction.
Job Description
- Serve as the primary contact for all queries received at the service desk.
- Handle customer inquiries, providing prompt and accurate information.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
- Document and track service requests and resolutions in the system.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure the desk area is presentable.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide feedback for improvements in processes and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in business of Hotel Management or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with service desk software and ticketing systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Should have good experience with the designated department
