Full Job Title: Business Process and Systems Analyst, ImplementationSmart Data Solutions, a leading provider of data management, claim routing and workflow solutions to health plans and TPAs, is looking for passionate and driven Business Process and Systems Analyst to join our team.
What you’ll be doing?
Business Process Analysis & Optimization
- Assess and document existing business processes, workflows, and system capabilities.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices.
- Design and implement new workflows that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct impact assessments for proposed process or system changes.
- Perform analysis of how customers are using the product
- Work closely with customers, engineers and product managers to gather and define business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed system specifications, use cases, and process flows.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and understanding.
- Analyze system functionalities and ensure alignment with business processes.
- Assist in data migration, validation, and quality assurance efforts.
- Develop test cases, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and support go-live activities.
- Work with reporting tools and databases to generate insights from system data.
- Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users on new system features and process changes.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on healthcare technology trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information systems, business analysis, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience in business process analysis, system analysis, or IT implementation, preferably in the healthcare technology space.
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or Six Sigma are a plus
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive strategic decisions and process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi).
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Clarity).
- Understanding of API integrations and system interoperability standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
