Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications. 
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects and ensure quality. 
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and management teams to understand requirements and improve testing processes. 
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools. 
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing. 
  • Implement automated testing frameworks and write scripts to streamline testing. 
  • Participate in agile development processes and provide feedback to improve software quality. 
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in financial technology. 


Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in fintech or payment systems. 
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. 
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Appium, Postman). 
  • Familiarity with API testing and database validation. 
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git. 
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills. 


Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in performance and security testing. 
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools. 
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation. 
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
