Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify software defects and ensure quality.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and management teams to understand requirements and improve testing processes.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
- Implement automated testing frameworks and write scripts to streamline testing.
- Participate in agile development processes and provide feedback to improve software quality.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in financial technology.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in fintech or payment systems.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Appium, Postman).
- Familiarity with API testing and database validation.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in performance and security testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) for test automation.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
