Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented UI/UX and Graphic Designer with strong content creation skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will blend creative design capabilities with excellent writing abilities to deliver user-centered solutions and compelling content that align with our brand identity and enhance the usability of our POS platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces for our web-based POS application
Create consistent design elements and visual assets for both product and marketing materials
Collaborate with development teams to implement designs using React and modern web technologies
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistency across all user touchpoints
Write, edit, and optimize content for our platform, marketing materials, and user guides
Create compelling copy for product interfaces, emails, social media, and other customer touchpoints
Maintain consistency in brand voice and messaging across all written materials
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals
Create compelling visual content for digital marketing, including social media, website, and promotional materials
Optimize designs for various screen sizes and ensure responsive implementation

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of professional UI/UX design experience (prior design experience is a must)
Experience with web development using React
Proficient knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines
Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies
Background in creating and maintaining design systems
Advanced proficiency in Figma and other graphic design tools
Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Experience creating user-facing content for digital products
Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy
Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design capabilities, visual design skills, and content creation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing for POS systems or business management software
Knowledge of the local Kathmandu market and user needs
Familiarity with product design for service-based businesses
Experience with design thinking methodologies
Background in illustration or motion design
Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization
