As a Junior Content Writer at Orka Socials, you will join our in-house team for dynamic projects. You'll become the voice behind exciting blog posts, thought leadership pieces, social media campaigns, and more. You will gain a deep understanding of business needs and scope and deliver a wide variety of content while closely collaborating with our professional services teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research Proficiency: Gather information on various topics to ensure content accuracy and depth.
- Content Creation: Create engaging and original blog posts, articles, and social media posts on assigned topics.
- Quality Assurance: Review your work for grammar, clarity, and adherence to guidelines.
- Feedback Incorporation: Revise content based on feedback from team members and clients to refine writing skills.
- Writing Style Adaptation: Adapt writing style and tone according to client guidelines and target audiences.
- SEO Implementation: Incorporate basic SEO practices like keywords and meta descriptions into your writing.
- Content Archiving: Organize and maintain a library of written content for easy reference and future use.
- Audience Awareness: Understand the target audience's preferences and tailor content to meet their needs and interests.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with senior writers and team members to understand project requirements.
- Team Engagement: Attend regular team meetings to discuss content ideas and receive feedback.
- Professional Growth: Be open to learning new writing techniques and adapting to client feedback.
Your qualifications:
- Basic writing skills with a good grasp of grammar and punctuation.
- Some experience with writing (e.g., school projects, personal blogs, or internships) is a plus.
- A genuine interest in improving writing and SEO skills.
- Willingness to adjust writing style and tone based on client requirements and audience needs.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality content.
- Ability to generate fresh ideas and unique angles for content topics.
- Ability to effectively use online resources and databases to gather information.
- Openness to constructive criticism and a desire to improve writing skills.
- Basic time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
- Basic knowledge of writing and editing tools (e.g., Google Docs, Grammarly).
