OverviewThe role of a Therapist Supporter is vital in providing assistance to therapists and mental health professionals in delivering effective therapy and support services to clients. This position serves as a bridge between the therapist and clients, ensuring that the therapeutic environment is conducive, organized, and responsive to client needs. The Therapist Supporter collaborates closely with therapists to better understand client challenges and goals, while also contributing to the overall treatment plan. This role not only enhances the efficiency of therapy sessions but also enriches the client's experience and outcome. By providing administrative support, managing client interactions, and facilitating communication, the Therapist Supporter plays an essential role in the mental healthcare landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service, achieving desired results, providing warm hospitality, maintaining discipline, honesty, and offering a friendly greeting and welcoming.
- Verify OPD card for payment prior to therapy sessions.
- Record accurate weight, measurements & vital before starting therapy.
- Follow therapy protocols diligently.
- Maintain comprehensive treatment charts in the OPD and obtain client signatures as necessary.
- Refrain from engaging in personal conversations with clients and fellow staff members during working hours.
- Educate clients about weight loss procedure and other treatments.
- Handle machines with care and ensure proper cleaning after each therapy session.
- Inform clients about available services, products, and special offers.
- Solicit feedback from clients after each session to improve service quality.
- Prohibit the use of mobile phones and metal items during therapy sessions.
- Ensure cleanliness and aesthetic appeal by making two beds daily with decorative touches.
- Refill gel/oil bottles as needed.
- Offer water/tea to clients as a gesture of hospitality.
- Adhere to scheduled leaves, with prior approval, and submit leave applications when necessary.
- Maintain daily treatment and machine records, especially during the last shift.
- Seek guidance from supervisors to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during therapy sessions.
- Refrain from discussing company policies with outsiders or clients.
- Encourage clients to visit the company website and social media platforms for additional information and updates.
- Senior therapists are responsible for documenting and addressing any problems that arise.
- Conduct regular room inspections to ensure cleanliness and readiness for clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, HA, PCL Nursing or related field.
- Previous experience in mental health support or counseling settings.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues and therapy processes.
- Proficient in managing scheduling and administrative tasks.
- Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working collaboratively in team settings.
- Knowledge of mental health resources and community services.
