Job Description
OverviewThe Market Development Supervisor plays a key role in driving the overall success of organization by identifying growth opportunities, establishing market strategies, and ensuring successful implementation. This position is critical to establishing our brand in new markets and strengthening our presence in existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
- Get market insights and channel feedback for better retailer service and channel development.
- Ensure to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly target and executing plans for timely achievement of KPIs.
- Interact with Cluster distributor team and FOS for planning, improvement opportunities, capability development and similar other activities.
- Coordinate with line manager and sales team for timely execution of strategies, plans and activities.
- Ensure KPI & revenue by researching & analyzing potential prospects & sales options.
- Analyze, identify and execute channel development opportunities and plans for improvement.
- Look into channel explanation opportunities and Authorize & Visit POSes on a periodic basis for market coverage, availability, awareness and visibility and other audit parameters.
- Prepare the visit reports, plans for necessary actions and follows up the implementation and timely addressing retailer queries.
- Develop and execute cluster channel strategy to ensure achievement of business requirements and customer deliverables.
- Make the analysis of the sales reports and present the results.
- Should be able to convince POS to ensure all required activities in the interest of Ncell which includes but not limited to maintaining required stock; visibility of products; pushing Ncell’s products, etc.
- Analyze and monitor Cluster sales performances, channel issues and competitor activities.
- Implement and monitor all channel quality parameters to achieve overall quality targets at various channel levels.
- Executes other instructions of the direct management within his/her competence & assistance to Regional Business Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in management or other relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analyzing and reporting skills.
- Advanced excel and PPT skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of telecommunication business-specific (products, services, tariff plans, sales channels).
- Must be comfortable to travel frequently as per business need.
