Role overview


We are looking to hire for the position of Assistant Accountant.


This role will focus on managing the financials across different business units in OMG. You will be closely working with the team’s Financial Controller & Assistant Accountant to provide Senior stakeholders across OMG with financial information & analysis that help them make more informed business decisions. The successful candidate will be supported in pursuing a professional accounting qualification and have opportunities to have a long-term finance career within the group.


Job Duties and Responsibilities


  • Preparation of Power Point Presentations for Senior Leadership Meetings
  • Assisting in Revenue and Expense Forecasting
  • Assisting in the completion of monthly Global Revenue and Expense Analysis
  • Assisting in completing regional request
  • Assisting in clients and external auditors
  • Assisting in client contract compliance
  • Ad-hoc projects and reconciliations
  • Other ad-hoc duties


Qualification, Skills and Competencies


  • Degree major in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Preferably 1-2 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Intermediate Excel skills Confidential - Not for Public Consumption or Distribution
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy imperative
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills imperative – a big part of the role is being able to communicate effectively with the business
  • Able to organize and prioritize
  • Team player with approachable manner
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines assigned
  • Confidence to gate keep and/or escalate as required
