Role overview

We are looking to hire for the position of .Net Developer (Mid Level).

This role is responsible for building functional applications and websites. Mid-Level .NET Developer responsibilities include participating in the entire software development life cycle, debugging applications and configuring existing systems. If you’re equally happy to roll up your sleeves to write code and review other team members’ work, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you’ll use your expertise in the .NET framework to help us deploy high-quality applications. Also, this role should do efficient communication with the Australian team to get the requirement and do necessary task planning with team for better completion of the application.

This role is seen as a leader and an expert in the team. This role should also invest time in organizing, upskilling and training junior counterparts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Expertise (70%)

• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages
• Test and debug various .NET applications
• Upgrade existing programs
• Document development and operational procedures
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies
• Proper use of task management and time logging tools.
• Comply with project plans and company standards
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Investigating and using new technologies where relevant.

Product Quality Assurance (20%)

• Develop verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Conduct testing and verification of software before sending it to QA
• Prepare functional documents for the QA team for further testing.

Team Management (5%)

• Attend on different project management processes/methodology and follow these sessions’ outcome

Stakeholder Management (5%)

• Provide regular and effective progress updates to and work closely with Development Project Managers to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues.

Qualification, Skills and Competencies

• Proven work experience above 2+ years as a .NET Developer
• Proficiency in building web-based applications
• In-depth knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (like C# and Visual Basic .NET)
• Familiarity with agile environments
• Troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication skills
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field
• Familiarity with .Net Core 7,
• Familiarity with different testing (Unit, Integration) tools and library would be a plus
• Design patterns and principles
