Position: Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Javascript) who will coordinate and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle to translate business requirements into functional code that delivers value.

Job Responsibilities

• Define web architectures and solutions from business requirements, produce estimates and timeline, and manage delivery
• Write reusable, testable and efficient code
• Design and implement low-latency, high availability, and performant applications
• Ensure application performance, quality and responsiveness
• Follow the Scrum workflow and complete tasks from the team backlog
• Assist the creation and development of feature requirements
• Collaborating with DevOps team for CI/CD integrations
• Collaborating with front-end and back-end web developers
• Maintaining new and existing web applications including resolving defects
• Document processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports
• Recommend and implement improvements to processes and technologies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in computer science, information science, or similar
• 5+ years of software programming experience
• 3+ years of professional experience specifically in JavaScript and Node.js, Vue.js, React.js, jQuery etc
• Production level experience with REST, WebSocket, MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks
• Experience of testing frameworks like Cypress, Jest
• Experience with back-end data management that optimizes RESTful APIs//microservices performance for varied user platforms - desktop, mobile, web services and more
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Experience with Docker and AWS Infrastructure is a plus
• Experience with microservices is a plus
• Understanding of asynchronous development and data security principles
• Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving aptitude
• Great organization and time management skills
