Job Description

Primary Roles:

  • Assisting the owner in the production, productivity, efficiency, recovery, quality management, cost saving, wastage reduction etc. of entire manufacturing of the products.
  • The day to day safe operation of the bottling lines, it’s equipment and systems.
  • The general operational maintenance, cleaning and servicing of the plant, line and its module.
  • Maintaining the GMP in plant and premise, compliance systems, especially Health and Safety with zero accident and casualties.


General Responsibilities:

  • Support the owner in the day to day operation of the plant, maintaining its warehouse and scrap yard.
  • Timely and efficient execution of all work instruction, as reasonably requested.
  • General cleaning and production wash down duties as required.
  • Conducting work safety, efficiency and diligently at all times.
  • Preserve and protect the business values of the company, and support the business mission as required.
  • Respond to the owner’s requests promptly with absolute transparency accuracy and quality of advice and information.

Key Result / Responsibility Area:

  • Assist and support the daily operation of the plant.
  • Proper testing and verification of incoming RM & PM before feeding in line to maintain the product quality, line efficiency and to control unwanted losses and breakdown in line.
  • Providing shift cover for sickness, vacation, other absences. Scheduling production employee, guiding and supervising downline to create dynamic work environment and for continuous improvement.
  • Management of bottling, packing, warehouse and its surrounding.
  • Housekeeping and upkeep of the production areas. Line, module and equipment cleaning and its maintenance as required.
  • Production reporting and inventory monitoring.
  • General security concerns of plant and premises, other general duties and activities in plant operation.
  • Checking the RM & PM availability and scheduling for production to prevent unwanted changeover.
  • Reduction in manpower cost, running and planning variety as per available manpower.
  • Meticulous attention to quality and process by implementing OPL’s and SOP’s in working place.
  • Ensure and maintain quality standards of the products. Reducing market complaints and taking proper action plans for its elimination.
  • Following 7QC tools for trouble shooting of various defects and taking proper CAPA for the same.
  • Daily record keeping of production, its trend analysis, wastage monitoring and cost minimization.
  • Maintaining proper Yield and Efficiency of line.
  • Meeting the market demand and timely delivery of the product.


Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree in Food Technology
