Job Overview:
Our client, a leading tours and travels company based in Gaushala, Kathmandu, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Front Desk/Ticketing Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling customer inquiries, processing ticket bookings, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Manage ticket bookings, cancellations, and rebookings for domestic and international travel.
- Provide accurate information regarding travel packages, schedules, and pricing.
- Process payments, issue tickets, and maintain records.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with airlines, bus services, and other travel partners for smooth operations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining visitor logs and managing office supplies.
- Ensure a welcoming and efficient front desk environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a front desk or ticketing role, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using ticketing software and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, travel management, or a related field (preferred).
- Fluency in English and Nepali.
